Hi there!

So glad to connect with you here…  Just a little bit of background about me, and then it's your turn:

I'm a farm girl at heart, growing up in rural Iowa, blessed to be born into a loving family.   After graduating from high school and a business program at a local college, I worked at Iowa State University where I met my husband.  

We moved to the BIG CITY of Des Moines when we married 35 years ago.  Even though I'm still more of a "country mouse" in many ways, I love where we live and am thankful that we've been able to stay close to both of our families.

We were blessed with three daughters, all who are grown now and live close by. Two of our daughters are married, and we've been blessed with two grandchildren.  Our family is a huge priority in our lives.

Shortly after our first daughter was born, we made the decision that I would be a stay-at-home mom, even though this meant finding sources of income that would come from me working from home. Some of these "jobs" included court report typing, medical transcription, data entry work, and fund raising. 

I also had the opportunity to do a lot of volunteer work with various organizations that  became important to me based on my own life experiences.

Just to back up a little, my dad was a farmer and painter of homes/farm buildings and I always had a bit of an entrepreneurial spirit as well. When our girls were little, I would often have the same dream about having a business of my own, somehow where I would be working WITH family and friends in some way.  It always seemed so real, but I had no idea at the time what this was all about.

After my husband was downsized six years ago, we both were introduced to network marketing and immediately saw how it could help provide the income that we were needing.  The people we met through this wonderful business opportunity were genuine, caring and seemed to work together as a team.  It was like a "family" business.

I could see my dream from long ago enfolding through this wonderful profession.  It was possible to have "team members" who were family and friends and it was the beginning of building new relationships with like-minded individuals, all who were supporting each other in business.

As is the case with most of us, there have been joys and sorrows during the course of my life.  My first roommate out of college died of cancer at the age of 21.  My only brother was killed in a tragic farm accident at the age of 40.  My dad was in and out of the hospital for many years after my brother's death and passed away a few years ago.   Most recently my husband's 19 year old nephew was diagnosed and died of cancer.

In our immediate family, a very hard time was having my husband downsized from his job in corporate America; shortly after  that I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  These were all part of our journey in life to bring us to where we are now and a big reason why WE want to reach out and help others who need encouragement and support.

Isn't that what life is really all about — reaching out and supporting and encouraging others along the way?

We've learned that things happen for a reason — we may not always understand the reason, but we have faith that there is something good that will be worked out of every situation.  Our faith in God keeps us grounded.

 

This leads me to share with you what I have found to be a solution for me – a way that I CAN EACH AND EVERY DAY be that support system or encourager to someone AND earn money by sharing it with others.

It allows us to have better relationships with those we love simply by taking a few minutes to say "I love you" –  "I care about what you are going through" — "I'm proud of you" or "I appreciate you"   Never underestimate what these words can do in your relationships.

 

So, in a nutshell, I have found a network marketing company whose mission matches mine — It provides a way to reach out to others when we are "prompted" to do so … AND it provides a way  for us to help others have a better financial picture.

 

I am so excited to be part of this incredible company and what it stands for.   It may or may not be something that's right for you, but my only advice to you is:  Don't stay stuck in a place in your life where you are unhappy or unfulfilled.   Whatever it is that your passion might be, "go for your dreams."   You can make them come true!

 

Having a business that is all about giving is a dream come true.  It's something I've had on my heart for years and years; the journey that has brought me to this place is part of my story that led me to this business.
